Tucked into the Mar Vista/Palms neighborhood on the Westside of LA, Charnock Road Elementary sits in one of those rare pockets of Los Angeles that still feels genuinely neighborhood-y — walkable, unpretentious, and full of families who chose the area for exactly that reason. The school holds its own academically, with math being a particular strength, and tends to draw a mix of longtime locals and newer residents who appreciate the Westside location without the sticker shock of Santa Monica or Culver City schools.
