Edison High sits in the heart of Stockton's south side, serving a tight-knit, working-class community where many families have deep roots in the Central Valley. Academically, it faces real challenges — scoring in the bottom tier statewide in both English and math — making it a better fit for families who are actively engaged in supplementing their student's education and seeking out additional resources. That said, Stockton itself has a scrappy, resilient spirit, and families who are connected to the school community often find a strong sense of belonging here.
