School Overview

Marysville High sits in one of the Sacramento Valley's older agricultural communities, where the Feather and Yuba rivers meet and the pace of life is decidedly unhurried. Academics here are a work in progress — the school shows more promise in science than in English or math, but families in this part of Yuba County are working with what the region offers, and many appreciate the tight-knit feel of a smaller city school. It's a good fit for families who are rooted in the area, value local community ties, and are prepared to supplement their student's education with outside resources or dual enrollment opportunities at nearby Yuba College.
