Natomas Middle

Natomas Middle sits in the fast-growing north Sacramento community of Natomas, a neighborhood that's attracted a lot of young families in recent years thanks to its newer housing developments and proximity to the airport corridor. The school's academics are a work in progress, and families moving into the area should go in with realistic expectations — while science scores show a bit more promise, English and math performance still lag behind much of the state. That said, Natomas Unified has been investing in its growing community, and families who get involved and advocate for their kids can find a supportive, diverse environment that reflects the neighborhood's evolving character.
