Ray Braswell High School

Ray Braswell High School sits in Aubrey, a fast-growing community on the northern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex where subdivisions are still going up and families are arriving in waves — which means the school is still finding its footing academically. Scores in English come in closer to the middle of the pack statewide, while math and science have more room to grow, so families with strong academic priorities may want to stay engaged and supplement at home. That said, it's a newer campus in a community with a lot of energy and young families, and for those drawn to the wide-open spaces and relative affordability of outer Denton County, Braswell is part of a neighborhood on the rise.
